Steve made a processing suggestion, so here is the adapted version - a slightly boosted version compared to the original.

Thanks.
Simon

Well I keep on processing, it is an addictive thing, especially when the data is this good! Pier 4 is a ZWO ASI-2066MC Pro OSC, with a Sigma 105mm f/1.4 lens stopped to F/2, an Astromechanics focuser, guided with a ZWO ASI-120 Mini and ZWO Mini guide scope, on an Astro Physics AP900 GTo3 mount. The mount actually runs unguided, so the guide scope is in there only as a backup. I used 210 subs of this, a mixture of 60s and 120s, creating an integration time of approximately 5 hours.

I really like these widefields - something I could never achieve here on the windy, light polluted south coast of England - but I am not complaining… well maybe a bit.

Have a good day everyone...

Thanks.
Simon

My that lens is really widefield, this shot for me really give it perspective as I know just how  big it is plus how far the Veil is from the main Milky Way band to the side

Nice shot again Simon although for my Taste you could give it a little kick as it’s a little flat. I reckon you could tease some more out of it plus add some more saturation ?

Please ignore my dylexia wherever possible, just be thankful I can control my Tourettes ;)

Things to do, so little time!

[size=100]No problem Steve. I am always wary of making things look too unnatural, but have given it a kick, hoping that improves things.

Take care and enjoy the day.
