This is something me and Pete have been discussing for a while and in the end we decided to do it, obviously Roboscopes members are welcome as it would be awesome to meet some of you.

We will supply a 20" and if I have room a 18" obsession Dobsonian for those that wish to do visual. e-Eye will also be on hand for a night of astronomy with Jose Manuel. They have a 16' Meade Lx200 plus others on site.

We will also make some of our Observatory available for FOC imaging including our Planewave and other scopes

Peter Shah will do an image processing talk on one of the evenings

We have provisionally booked 90% of the e_eye complex so please get in touch with interest and I will keep you informed.

I will speak to the owners tomorrow to organise a BBQ featuring the world renowned Extremadura Black pig which is something not to be missed or forgotten :)

You will need to arrange your flights, car hire. Accommodation plus any other fees will be paid to e_Eye directly. Please DM me if you are interested and I will give you more details as they become available

New moon is on Friday the 15th of September so Monday to Sunday seems like the most obvious choice for the star Party.

Obviously everybody will have different arrival times and days I am sure, in reality turn up what day suits you and whatever day suits you to leave. As long as we know we can speak to e-Eye to organise the accommodation I am sure

I am also looking forward to meet other Roboscope members and spend some really great time in Spain.

Best wishes

Mark me down as a possible. I am due to be visiting son and daughter-in-law in California about that time. Do you have dates yet?

evening :)

new moon is on Friday the 15th, so Monday to Sunday seems the most sensible to me, arrival and leaving dates are flexible any ways with flights having to be booked etc
