The Helix Nebula. Imaged with Pier 2. The data was collected late in the season and was pretty low in the sky, so its pretty good considering the scope was hedge hopping.  Imaged in RGB , Ha and OIII. Exposure times were 4hours in each RGB filter, 3.5 hours in Ha and 6.5 hours in OIII. All 600s subs a total of 26 hours. I haven't used the Luminance data yet but will probably give it another process later on.
Thanks for looking

Peter,

Excellent as usual and a fine example of what can be achieved by someone with the skills and who knows what they're doing. I was feeling a bit chuffed with what I'd produced from pier 2, that was until I first saw the one by Morpheus on pier 3 and now this one of yours which uses the same data from pier 2 that I have. Still it's good to have something to compare to should I revisit it in the future. Not quite sure how you're going to improve much on this one, but I'm certain you will. Despite those 6 1/2 hours of oxygen I wasn't able to incorporate it without adding a blizzard of additional noise to what I already had, but I'm glad that you were able to and not waste it.

Thanks for all the work you put in behind the scenes and really looking forward to what will be going on pier 11 after you've finished testing it and eventually get the chance to revisit the obs to install it.

Cheers,

Ray
