Hi all, that time of year will soon be upon us again and guiding during galaxy season is always a pain as a lot of these galaxies everyone really want to image have sporadic amounts of guide starts, which when using an OAG is made doubly hard by and even smaller prism pick off FOV

Where possible, please try to work within your syndicate pier's unguided limits

Piers 1, 2 & 3 all work up-to 180 seconds unguided

Piers 5 and 14 will both do 300 seconds, so they are fine anyway

We will get a lot more imaging done with a lot less failed to find a guide star issues that result in multiple failed 1 hour imaging blocks!

All in all, it will be a lot more productive and a lot more data for you :)

Please ignore my dylexia wherever possible, just be thankful I can control my Tourettes ;)

Things to do, so little time!
