Hi,

something seems to go wrong in transmitting data for download?! Beside job 1902 there´s also missing data in Job 1939 M99 requested by Manuel - only Luminance and red data, no G&B data although being requested.

Didn´t check all of the datasets, maybe there´s more missing data?

Hi Martin,

given that there will be a major change on Pier1, i.e. camera change, I have gone through all my submissions and informed Steve of the "fate" of some Requests.

a. Requests that have not started -> do not start before camera change.

b. Requests that have not reached a threshold, i.e. 50% -> stop and restart after the camera change. Reason is that time would not suffice to finish these requests before the camera change.

c. Requests closer to completion -> try to finish before the camera change, weather-willing of course.

I hope this clarifies matters for you.

All the best

Manuel

Manuel,

I agree with your suggested next steps. Nevertheless I am quite worried about some - until now unknown - root cause(s) in the process of data sharing where either data gets lost and / or jobs are not finished in accordance to request. This happened quite a few times lately?!

While the camera doesn´t seem to be the problem I doubt that this issue is magically gonna disappear after the camera change?! Thus, I would like Phil and Steve to take care of that issue and fix the problem. It´s quite frustrating to receive uncomplete jobs that you cannot process due to missing data. And manually doublecheck and re-insert the missing parts to the joblist. This also limits our valuable telescope time while jobs need to be repeated.

In the case of 1939, completion was not possible. As the camera will change, I will resubmit the full request after the change.

1895 p1 Running man 1 1169 951 is part of a mosaic with the other part already being finished.

I would strongly request to finish that job due to continuousity (?) reasons before the camera change.

For other already started jobs it depends on whether or not all filtersets are available in the current data?

Again, it doesn´t make sence to stop at 50% data if only Lum and red channel are available?!
