Hi David,

Thanks for introducing yourself and welcome to the forum and pier 5 syndicate. This I think is the best pier for you to start off with so you've chosen wisely. 

It's a bit of a quiet period at the moment for new data mainly due to the weather, however, you should have access to a few of the most recent jobs to start working on.

There is of course a lot of information already on the forum on how to submit jobs and download the data, so if you haven't done so I'd recommend some browsing.

For further questions on how to download the data the best people are the roboscopes team, anything else then there is a wealth of knowledge that other forum members have. Again, welcome.

Hi David,

You are going to love the data from Pier 5. Particularly for the less experienced one-shot colour is much easier to get something decent from than mono with all the different filters and combining the different channels (at least that is what I found!).

As Ray said, we are in a 'between seasons' situation at the moment and the team have been out to Spain, upgrading and fettling the piers. We should be getting some good data soon.
