Hi everyone at Roboscope, I am a scientist (biomedical) with a keen interest in astrophotography. I have my own backyard setup (Pier, C9.25", ASI2600mc-pro, Hyperstar 4). I just joined as a gold member to access to more gears, reach slightly more southern targets, and eventually learn about narrowband imaging. I am still far from being experienced at this, and am looking forward to learn from others.  I have uploaded some of my backyard images to Manuel Peitsch's gallery - AstroBin.  All the best Manuel

Manuel,

New here also, checkout your Astrobin page, looks like your accomplished, friend of Switzerland here, visited Starmus, Lauterbrunnen and the Montreux Jazz festival before the world changed, blown away.  Friends of the extended Piccard Swiss Aeronaut family in an earlier time.  Looking to get back when we can travel more freely!

Will look for more of your work here,
Frank

Frank,

thanks for the kind words.  Wow, and yes, let's hope those times come back.  BTW, living in the Montreux area ... such a privilege with the lake, the great view, etc.

Cheers

Loved cruising the lake, mountain trains, and the Chaplin home in Vevey, got to stop chatting about this, gives me a itch I can’t scratch.

Welcome again,
