Taken using pier 6. The picture comprises 2 images each of approx 7 hours total of narrowband data Ha, O3 and S2. The images overlap but are cropped owing to being imaged with slightly differing declination values, so I have needed to clip off data top and bottom.

I really like this image Ray and you have done a superb, great job with it. A lovely balanced image with that typical delicate touch of yours. I think it is a lovely work of art, so to speak. Take care now and I'll be in touch soon. Simon

Simon,

Really appreciated as that came with a lot of problems. I believe a spacer may have been added between the 2 sets of images and the camera ended up being rotated about 1 1/2 degrees. I originally thought that the software ICE had done a great alignment job, but only upon zooming right in, after having almost completed post processing it, there was a thin band of doubled up stars alternating in red and blue colour along the join. Very many hours and expletives later I got the best I could from it. So many thanks.

As you know these are large files so it takes even longer than normal. Hope all is well at home.

Best regards,
Ray
