Hi fellows,

I'd like to suggest the seagull nebula IC 2177 for February.

Even though the 500mm might already be a little bit too much it should still show most of the great structure of the seagull. See attached preview from Telescopius.

How about 100 x 120s?

Any opinions about the object / FOV / exposure time?

Hello Martin,

I am also in favor that we include this object. However, I would suggest to expose 50 x 300 seconds. The Zwo Asi 2600 has a high dynamic range and should be able to handle the brighter stars.
