Hi Steve.

Excellent indeed and the stars are good even out to the corners. :) {one day maybe pier 14 as well.}

My first one which was of the moon, was done by hand holding a SLR, non digital, with the lens removed to the back of a cheap telescope with the eyepiece removed. You then needed to wait for the film to be processed in a lab. You did require some imagination to make out the odd crater or two! That was probably around the time you were crawling around in nappies.

What you didn't tell us though is that it has taken you all the intervening years to finally process a decent image from the data. :)

Thanks for that Steve. Now when you can eventually find some time to start that competition, looking forward to seeing your attempt.

Cheers,

Ray
