Hi guys,

I have updated the submission form today with the following:
  1. Submission form now has a notes area to type in notes for us regarding the object.[/*]
  2. Submission form now has a box so you can let us know the object is current or rising in the future.[/*]
  3. Submission List now highlights your own personal submissions in light green color.[/*]
Any questions / suggestions then please send them my way.

Phil

Hi Phil,

That’s really appreciated. :) Also thank you for your reply to my recent ticket query, which you have now addressed with the changes to the submission form. What you have done is a better way of achieving it. I'll close that ticket now.

Kind regards,

Ray

UPDATE 2:
I have now created the first iteration of the popup that shows the submission details when you click the row.
it will show the filters, exposures and repetitions

any feedback welcome.

Please remember, this is the first iteration and it will be getting updated to look alot "nicer" soon.

Phil.

Hi Phil,

This is brilliant and will prove extremely useful.

At present and until all the previously submitted jobs are completed, it may be necessary for someone at roboscopes to check newly submitted bookings against those already in the queue. Not a quick task checking coordinates. :(

From now, provided that a description of the target(s) defined by the coordinates is entered, then we can verify this ourselves. :)

Just curious as to what more might follow Phil.

Since first joining the forum I've seen many changes and vast improvements you've made to its functionality, it's a real pleasure to use. Hopefully more members will realise this, start posting here and sharing.

Steve, he is definitely worth 2 sausage sandwiches a day I reckon. :)

Cheers,

Ray

Phil, eats for Englad I assure you, he's like a conveyor belt!

We are old school and forums are great as they are similar to the clubs we all joined from our childhood upwards, younger generations seem to prefer social media and such like on the whole. One can only try to get others involved

Fingers crossed and keep chipping away

Please ignore my dylexia wherever possible, just be thankful I can control my Tourettes ;)

Things to do, so little time!

Hi Ray,

Steve mentioned to me about the form so I am going to be editing it so that the object and coordinate fields are always visible so that you guys can also add the object name alongside coords.

If just an object name is entered we will use that, but if coords are entered too they will take preference. This will make things visually easier for you guys viewing the details of a submission :)

this should hopefully be completed within the next day or so.

Kind regards, Phil
