I have been trying to get some decent images of this object using my own refractor since last year  .... but the seasons moved on and now that this object is back in view again weather here keeps getting in the way! So I decided to use the scope on Pier 7 to add some extra 1200sec H/S/O subs to my collection.
I have just finished processing all of my subs ( my own + Roboscopes) using a combination of MaximDL, PixInsight and Photoshop tp get my final image.
I am pleased with my final effort :-)
I am impressed with the flexibility of the Roboscope system allowing me to pick and choose whatever subs I needed to complete my project ..... I will be back for more!!!

Hi Mike,

That is an excellent image and proof, if it was needed, that this site is not just for capturing all the data needed, but as you pointed out a means to get those extra frames to put the final touches to something you've already done yourself. It's been processed very nicely and I'm sure the knowledge you gained while combining the data will stand you in good stead for future projects. Looking forward keenly to seeing more in the future.

Cheers,
Ray
