PIER-14 Easier submission process

Hi old_eyes,

there is no queue per say as our sequencer grabs items at optimal times so you adding items you’d like to see yourself into the pier could result in that item being complete the next night or a week or so after. Idealy we would prefer you subscribers keep adding the objects you desire yourselves alongside any that we do for you. Thus you reap the rewards of your subscription

You will have more data than you can shake a stick at very very soon.

Quick question.

I wanted to submit a job with specified coordinates (for a possible mosaic project). The space for coordinates on the submission form seemed to be a text field, so I put the coordinates in with RA, Dec standard format separated by a comma. Is that OK? I would like to know I am doing it right before I bung in a lot of jobs that will then end up imaging the wrong part of the sky!.

You inputted them correctly yes. We vet them before they are entered into the system in either case.
Standard J2000.

You have however highlighted a problem to me whereby the box does not change to co-orinates when you click that option - I will fix that today to ensure it's the same as the pier booking process.
